We built this app to be a relaxing, beautiful reading experience for children and the adults reading with them. Your privacy — and your child's privacy — matters to us, and we've designed the app accordingly.

What We Collect

Nothing.

The Big Ocean app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, device identifiers, location data, or any other information about you or your child. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or any form of registration.

Network Activity

The app does not connect to the internet.

All content — illustrations, narration audio, and text — is bundled with the app and runs entirely on your device. The app makes no network requests of any kind.

Third-Party Services

Big Ocean does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-collection services. There are no SDKs in the app that collect or transmit information.

Children's Privacy

Big Ocean is intended for children and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide. Because the app collects no information whatsoever, no information about children is ever collected, stored, or shared.

Apple App Store and TestFlight

When you download Big Ocean via TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may collect information according to Apple's own privacy policy. This is independent of Big Ocean and outside our control. Please review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy for details.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how Big Ocean handles data, we will update this policy and the effective date above. Any future change that would involve collecting information would also require an app update, which Apple's App Store would review.
